Your Data, Your Control

Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 13, 2026

At Weariq AI, we believe your privacy is a fundamental right. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our AI-powered virtual try-on platform. We are committed to transparency and giving you control over your data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use Weariq AI:

a) Information You Provide

  • Account information — name, email address, and profile photo when you create an account (via email or social login through Google, GitHub, etc.).
  • Uploaded images — photos of yourself and garment images you upload for virtual try-on processing.
  • Payment information — billing details processed securely through our payment provider, Paddle. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
  • Communications — messages you send via our contact form or feedback system.

b) Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, try-on generations created, timestamps, and interaction patterns.
  • Device information — browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and device identifiers.
  • Log data — IP address, referring URLs, and access timestamps.
  • Cookies & similar technologies — session cookies, authentication tokens, and analytics identifiers. See our Cookie Policy for details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Providing the service — processing your virtual try-on requests, managing your account, and delivering results.
  • Image processing — your uploaded photos are sent to our AI processing pipeline solely for generating virtual try-on images. We do not use your images to train AI models, sell to third parties, or use them for any purpose other than delivering your try-on results.
  • Billing and payments — processing subscriptions, credit purchases, and refunds through Paddle.
  • Communication — responding to your inquiries, sending service-related notifications (e.g., account confirmation, billing receipts), and providing customer support.
  • Improvement — analyzing aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to improve our AI models, user interface, and overall service quality.
  • Security — detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access to our platform.
  • Legal compliance — meeting our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our terms.

3. Image Data & AI Processing

Given the nature of our service, we want to be transparent about how image data is handled:

  • Processing — your photos are transmitted securely (TLS/SSL encryption) to our AI processing servers for virtual try-on generation.
  • Storage — generated try-on results are stored in your account history so you can access them later. Original uploaded images may be temporarily cached for processing but are not permanently stored beyond the generated result.
  • No training — we do not use your personal photos to train, fine-tune, or improve our AI models. Your images are used exclusively for fulfilling your try-on request.
  • Deletion — you can delete your try-on history at any time from your dashboard. When you delete your account, all associated images and generated results are permanently removed within 30 days.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — we use trusted third-party services to operate our platform:
    • Supabase — authentication and database hosting
    • Paddle — payment processing and billing
    • Cloudflare — security, CDN, and CAPTCHA verification
    • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

5. Data Retention

  • Account data — retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days.
  • Try-on results — stored in your account history until you delete them manually or delete your account.
  • Payment records — retained for up to 7 years as required by financial regulations and tax obligations.
  • Analytics data — aggregated and anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.
  • Support communications — retained for up to 2 years after the conversation concludes.

6. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously and implement appropriate measures including:

  • Encryption in transit — all data is transmitted via TLS/SSL (HTTPS).
  • Encryption at rest — sensitive data is encrypted in our databases.
  • Access controls — strict role-based access controls limit who can access your data internally.
  • Secure authentication — we use industry-standard authentication protocols and support social login via OAuth 2.0.
  • Regular audits — we regularly review and update our security practices.

While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but we are committed to promptly notifying affected users in the event of a data breach.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion — request deletion of your personal data (you can do this directly from your dashboard settings).
  • Portability — request a machine-readable copy of your data.
  • Objection — object to processing of your data for certain purposes.
  • Withdrawal of consent — where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us via our contact page. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Weariq AI is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. By using our service, you consent to the transfer of your data to our processing locations.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on our website. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
